Meet James DiGianvittorio - Executive Chef

A native of Peabody, Massachusetts, James DiGianvittorio found his calling in cuisine at a very young age, and embraced his new career with a passion. After working in various restaurants in the North Shore area, Chef DiGianvittorio worked in numerous roles within the kitchen until he finally worked his way up to Executive Chef.

In the early 1980’s his life path changed and he became introduced to the field of Law Enforcement. “Chef to Chief” Over the years he rose in the ranks and spent 38 years as a public servant and where he was promoted to Chief of Police in 2007 in the Town of Middleton. This career path took him around the world and yet he still had a passion for cooking the entire time.

Fast forward to 2022, he now has retired from policing, and has made that transition once more, from “Chief to Chef”.

“My fondest memories are from my childhood where my stay-at-home Mom “Mary” would spend countless hours cooking for the family and anyone else who stopped by, she would spend hours cooking Italian dinners in our family home all the while listening to Italian music”.

His mother instilled the same passion for cooking that she had, which is a deep-rooted passion for the craft, which is essential in any profession.

“I believe that my strong stamina and leadership qualities also emanate through my cooking”.

I hope you would allow me the opportunity to create a meal that will make your event a memorable experience.
